Air Fryer Chicken Tikka
If you never feel like cooking in the evening, we see you! So … doing a little prep today (it’s not batch cooking, we promise) will make you feel like a genius tomorrow. Marinade your chicken pieces and tuck them away in the fridge overnight. Then they’re infused with flavour, ready to air fry and serve in minutes.
Topped with joy
Chicken tikka is a great ingredient. Add it to a ready-made curry sauce for extra flavour. Serve it over salad leaves with crushed poppadoms, chopped cucumber, and a dribble of mango chutney. Dump it onto chips with cheese and sriracha for the perfect TV dinner. Or pile it onto a ready-made naan and fold up into a sandwich!
We used a tikka spice blend to make this dish – try a couple, find your favourite. (Mrs Balbir Singh’s Butter Chicken blend is outstanding, but only if you’re feeling spendy).

Air Fryer Chicken Tikka
Serves 2
2 chicken breasts, diced
Marinade:
2 tbsp plain yoghurt
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
1-2 tsp tikka seasoning blend
1 tsp Garam Masala
½ tsp salt
1 tbsp lemon juice
To serve:
Chips, sriracha, grated cheese.
1 – Make the marinade by mixing all the ingredients in a bowl with a lid.
2 – Add the chicken pieces, mix well, and marinade for at least 20 minutes (or ideally overnight).
3 - Place the rack into the drawer of your Clear Mini and brush it lightly with oil. Add half of the chicken pieces, spreading them out.
4 – Air fry at 180° C for 11-13 minutes, tossing halfway through.
5 – If cooking chips, set aside the chicken and cook frozen chips for the time recommended on packet. Then pile them into a silicone liner, top with chicken and grated cheese, and return to air fry for another 2-3 minutes.
