Air Fryer S’Mores Graveyard
It was truly a magical day when we discovered that marshmallows can be toasted, in bulk, inside the Clear Mini Air Fryer.
How did we find out? Well, we may have been testing out a recipe for toasted marshmallow milkshake* and couldn’t be bothered to find the skewers and stand over the hob.
So what did we do with our newly-acquired knowledge? Obviously, we made s’mores.
And now we’ve adapted them for spooky season, because who can resist a silly twist on our favourite campfire treat?
We turned our s’mores dip into a graveyard with biscuit headstones. It’s perfect for creeping out your family or sharing on the sofa while you watch the next season of Wednesday!
Air Fryer S’Mores Dip (with a graveyard twist)
125g marshmallows
1 packet Bourbon chocolate biscuits
Writing icing tubes in white or red and green
2 tbsp chocolate spread (optional)
1 – Prep the headstones. Use the writing icing to decorate each one with ‘R.I.P.’ and some grass along the bottom, if you like. Put aside to set.
2 – Make the ‘soil’ by crushing 2 biscuits in a small bowl, using a rolling pin (gently).
3 – When you’re ready to eat, tip the marshmallows into your silicone baking dish and pop it into the air fryer drawer.
4 – Slide it shut and set the temperature at 200°C.
5 – Cook for 2-3 minutes (stay close and watch: you want toasty, not burned, marshmallows).
6 – Carefully remove from the drawer and dribble the chocolate spread over the top.
4 – Sprinkle with biscuit crumbs and stick in your ‘headstones’, upright. Use the remaining biscuits to dip and eat!
TIPS
- You can make this recipe as a classic s’mores dip by topping the toasted marshmallows with chocolate chips and then dipping biscuits into it.
- Halloween party? Alright then – add mummy sausage dogs and turn up the Halloween playlist!
* If you fancy a toasted marshmallow milkshake too… just add vanilla ice-cream, milk, and ice cubes, and blend.
